Applicant Days are exclusively for students who have received an offer to study at Luma University. The January event helps offer holders decide whether to select Luma as their firm choice before the UCAS deadline on 4 February 2027.
The day includes faculty welcome sessions, subject taster workshops, accommodation viewings and meetings with academic tutors. Student finance advisers explain maintenance loan entitlements, bursaries and the cost of living in Luma compared with larger UK cities. Parents and supporters are welcome and can attend dedicated sessions on student support services, safety and wellbeing.
Offer holders can stay overnight in halls on a complimentary basis subject to availability, providing an authentic experience of residential life. Evening activities organised by the students' union include a campus tour by torchlight and informal social events in the union bar.
Booking opens in December 2026 through the applicant portal using your UCAS personal ID. If you cannot attend in January, a second applicant day runs in March 2027. Virtual alternatives including live Q&A sessions with current students are available for international offer holders unable to travel to the UK.
