Luma University will confer degrees upon graduates who completed their programmes in December 2026 during ceremonies held on 22 and 23 January 2027. Ceremonies take place at Luma Cathedral for larger cohorts and in the Great Hall on the Edgewater campus for smaller school gatherings.
Graduands must register through the online graduation portal by 5 January 2027 and order academic dress through the approved supplier by 10 January. Two ceremony times are offered each day—morning at 10:30 and afternoon at 14:30—to accommodate guest numbers and photography schedules.
Each ceremony lasts approximately ninety minutes and includes academic procession, conferment of degrees, and an address from the Vice-Chancellor or a guest speaker. Graduates may invite up to two guests; additional guest tickets are released subject to venue capacity. The students' union hosts a reception on the campus green following afternoon ceremonies.
Graduates unable to attend in person may apply for in absentia conferment, receiving their degree certificate by post after the ceremony dates. Transcripts and degree verification services are available through the Registry from the week following graduation. Photography partners operate official stalls at both venues; pre-booking is recommended.
